SRF Training and Consulting LLC, the first three letters are an acronym for “Self Rescue First”, specializes in teaching responsible citizens how to prepare themselves physically and mentally in the event that they are chosen to be a victim of criminal violence. While the chances, thankfully, of being selected by a criminal are relatively remote our curriculum is based on the philosophy that being prepared, being aware and being willing to go home safe is the best away to get out of trouble should trouble find you.

We particularly stress awareness in our courses. Being aware of and on the lookout for potential conflicts or attacks is the best way to avoid those conflicts or attacks, and the fight you don’t have to get into is the fight you will win 100% of the time.

Our other primary focus is on accountability. A fight for their life is likely the most difficult thing anyone can undertake. In such a critical moment it is vital that a defender stays in the highest cognitive level so that they make correct decisions and take precise, deliberate and fully accountable, actions.

SRF Training and Consulting also offers specialized instruction, and coaching, in sport and competitive shooting sports. We also offer Gateway instruction for new and novice shooters to introduce them safely and with fun to the shooting sports.

Based in Northeast Wyoming we offer group classes and private instruction locally. We can and will travel around the state, and the states surrounding, to present one and two day classes. We can also provide consulting services around physical and personal security to businesses, schools, churches and organizations which are at risk of being the target of an active attacker.
